Defintely Azamazing! We won the suite upgrade bingo the first night and stayed in the Club World Owner's Suite. It was nicely appointed with a living room, bar/buffet, dining table and chairs, a large bedroom, a big vanity with cushioned seat, a Jacuzzi tub master bathroom and a guest bathroom, and more closet space than in my whole home! The best part though was the wrap-around balcony double deep, with two large well-padded chaise loungers, and a table with four chairs that we ate our breakfast at each morning. It is aft and corner so when we were backed into port we had a tremendous view. This suite is well worth the money, along with the English trained butler from Turkey!!!!
This was our second Azamara cruise and the first one on the Quest. We love the small ships, country club casual, no formal nights, fantastic food and service. Only two children on board and no children's facilities. Their new Azamazing Evening was a smashing success and included a night at the Palais du Pharo with music, food, tapanade making, nautical knot tying, petanque, great views. The night is included in the cruise. and only costs if you signup and then do not go.
We like the inclusive part of Azamara and not being nickled and dimed to death. Gratuities are included and so are beer, wine and spirits. We do not drink alcohol and they had non-alcoholic wine for us. The ship is fairly accessible but could be improved for passengers in wheelchairs. The cabaret type entertainment was good and Russ, the Cruise Director, was grand...always remembering your name and greeting and including you. He does a great Tom Jones interpretation, too! The casino was small but adequate, although the machines could use some more variety and updating. The food was exceptionally good. We enjoyed both Aqualina and Prime C. Don't miss the brie in phyllo with caramelized pecan and raspberry coulis, the fresh green pea soup, excellent escargot along with excellent entrees. The lamb in Prime was excellent and perfectly done, along with excellent service by Predrag.
The pool was fine but the weather was cool. I enjoyed the thallaso therapy pool and the steam room. We had a relaxing trip, and amazing butler who served tea for a group of seven in our suite, made popcorn for me, and brought savories every afternoon. We really enjoyed this cruise. Disembarking was a snap with a transfer to the Nice airport for our trip home. If you have never tried a small ship, this is a great one to do so. The individual attention was grand and staff were very attentive and genuinely seemed disappointed if they were not able to help.
