Aniversary Cruise

The Norwegian Gem is gorgeous ship, Weboarded on Friday around noon to a lot of Welcome Aboards. Overall the Gem is a relatively easy ship to get around, Many bars available for those who enjoy their adult beverages, the bars were very crouded, so getting the attention of an attendant to serve you was a challenge. The activities that were available were a bit dissapointing such as the comedy shows. I did enjoy performing with a live band in their bandeoke in one of the lounges. The weather did not co-operate so the use of the pools was out of the question, some brave souls did make use of the hot tubs. The pool area is very beautiful. Overall my wife and I had an enjoyable mini-cruise. Some rude cruemembers were found at times, We had an Ocean View cabin close to the elevators no much lager than a walk in closet, but it served its purpose. I found a sweater in one of the drawers apparently left there by the last occupant, it was missed by house keeping, I also found blood stains on the bed sheets at the very bottom of the bed this morning after sleeping on the bed the previous evening. I reported the stains to the cabin stewart, and instead of appologies he said are you sure sir those are brand new sheets. To which I responded well I did not bleed on the sheet Sir. I also reported the incident to the Customer Relations and the Housekeeping Manager. I do not forsee anything happening with this incident by the reception I received. So Cruisers Beware! As a seasoned cruiser I understand that these things happen on the best of cruisers sometimes, So I will not Condemn Nowegian Cruises for a couple of oversights. In the future I will be more aware when I begin my cruise. Overall it was a fun cruise.
