In the Beginning:

CruiseCrazies was born in August of 2001 as an unbiased and independent cruise resource and community by cruisers, for cruisers.

Jason Taub, Fort Lauderdale Realtor® and cruising enthusiast, sailed on his first cruise in 1994, and immediately fell in love with the world of cruising. Preferring cruises over any other type of vacation, the passion to build CruiseCrazies into a one-stop resource and community for cruisers, turned into a hobby spanning 16+ years.

In the beginning, CruiseCrazies was a tiny group of members all connected by a common theme - Everyone was "cruise crazy." Everyone had so many interesting experiences to share and so much to discuss, ultimately all focused around the common passion of cruising the oceans on magnificent floating cities i.e. cruise ships. Some were new to cruising, others had sailed many times. Some were more knowledgeable, some more talkative, while others just read for a while before joining the conversation. It didn't matter everyone's experience - All that mattered was everyone loved discussing cruises together. In a very short period of time, something became very evident.... We were forming something special - An extremely close-knit cruise community, which would soon become widely known as "The Friendliest Cruise Community on the Net."

Online for Nearly 20 Years!

Over the years, CruiseCrazies has continued to grow and is much more than a place to ask cruise questions. Beginning with just a tiny discussion board back in 2001, CruiseCrazies has evolved into a comprehensive resource and social community for all sorts of cruise information, social connections and cruise fun including but not limited to the Forums, Cruise Reviews, Packing List with Tips, Cruise News, Articles, Blogs, Cruise Deals, Photos, Ship Tracker, Preferred Agents and more.

The CruiseCrazies Team consists of Admins, Moderators, Bloggers, Preferred Travel Agents, and countless members who all do their own amazing part each day in helping ensure CruiseCrazies remains not only the "Friendliest Cruise Community on the Net" but also the most informative, interesting, drama-free cruise community full of valuable content which keeps members and guests returning for more while attracting new members.
