The cruise was great. We met some wonderful folks and were surprised at the number of newly weds we met this cruise.
The only issue we had was in Belize City. Our tubing and caves excursion was cancelled due to the heavy rains for several days which flooded the caves. Not Carnival's fault at all for that. So we were left to wander around the port and were very disappointed in what we saw. The port is dirty and was very crowded as there is not much room to maneuver around. We ended up going back to the ship shortly after arriving ashore.
Also, the tender was very slow for this port. We were over an hour late for our excursion. If it hadn't been cancelled we wouldn't have made it off the ship in time.
Tendering in Grand Cayman was also slower this time. We've been to Grand Cayman before and last time it was quick and easy. Not as much this time around. And there was a lot of confusion around needing or not needing to get a number to get on a tender. So we weren't too impressed with tendering this time.
Otherwise a great trip. Can't wait for the next one! :)
