It is a small ship which makes it more intimate than the larger vessels. It doesn't have a grand atrium but that is where the downfalls end. This was one of our favorite cruises and woudl recommend it to anyone not needing a huge ship or the atrium. It is now Carnival's oldest ship in the fleet but was always clean. We sailed on her out of New Orleans and she has since went into a dry dock overhaul and moved to Mobile Alabama. Embarkation has always been easy in New Orleans and our room was very clean and comfortable. The food was very good on this sailing. The best I have ever had on a ship. I have been on this ship twice so I am in no hurry to sail her again since there are so many more to explore but I would suggest her to anyone who hasn't experienced a smaller ship that has excellent service.
