COMPLETE REVIEW
I asked my wife if there were any cruises that have a limited amount of children. The children on the cruise were out of control. On the first day of the cruise an announcement was made to the families that had children, that they should not run through the ship. That was ignored, as most parents just let their kids run wild and they were either running into you, running in the hallways, or playing on the elevators. the Officers on the ship witnessed this, and said nothing, just turned their head, as if it wasn't happening. The cleaning crew in the dining areas were very rude, they wanted to take our plates before we were finish, and kept pestering us, even after we had to tell them several times that we weren't finished. I was in the buffet line, and one woman from the cleaning crew would not move out of my way, even though I said "excuse me twice". Our assigned waiter at the Formal dining room was very cold and distant, he also acted as if he was doing us a favor every time we had a request. We had a feeling that Carnival was hurting financially, because we were nickel and dimed for every thing small, for example opening a bottle of wine, or pressing a suit, the servers on the buffet line were rationing out the bacon, two pieces to every customer, and if you asked for more bacon, they only gave you one piece. The laundry rooms were a joke, one of the irons stop working and that left only three for the whole ship. There were women ironing a whole weeks wardrobe for herself and her kids. We had an old television set in our room and the sensor for the remote control was covered, so we had to stand up if we wanted to switch channels. Other than those issues, we still were able to have a good time. This is my fifth cruise, and the first time that I had all these issues. As far as the kids are concerned, we will probably just cruise in the fall or winter.
