This was an pleasant cruise despite having my left wrist in plaster!
What I liked:
Clean ship
Good service
Very good food
Pleasant employees
Past guest party
First visit to Ocean Liners.
Iced towels after shore ex:
Poolside sorbert and fruit treats offered by pool butlers
The Voice Males-Acapela singers.
What I didn't like:
Blatant fishing for tips(envelopes with their names on) by the room steward and his assistant
On sea days the ship jammed with people-very little space to be found.
Small stateroom room and balcony
The ship had absolutely no atmosphere.
Not enough deck chairs on sea days
Thallasatherapy pool chairs very uncomfortable
Line up at embarkation-total chaos.
Dining room waiters never asked our names.
Second visit to Ocean Liners.
Poor choice of evening entertainment.
There are other things really that came up but nothing worth writing down. We thought that the cruise was a trifle too long at 13 days. 10 would have been enough, Sad to say we will not travel Celebrity again. The cruise line has service and food which has been their biggest attributes over the years but little else. Carnival is catching up fast-very fast especially on food quality.
Regards,
James
