The Miami producer and rapper is hosting his second music festival cruise called “Days of Summer” with fellow artists Cardi B and Post Malone this summer.
The cruise, which will be aboard the Carnival Victory, departs Miami for the Bahamas on June 28 and returns July 1. The trip is for passengers 18 and older. The Carnival ship can hold 2,764 passengers. For more information on the cruise, visit daysofsummercruise.com.
In 2017, DJ Khaled hosted a similar music-themed cruise called “Summerfest’’ with hip-hop acts Future, Migos, Lil Wayne and A$AP Rocky. That cruise was aboard the Norwegian Sky, which departed Miami for a four-day, three-night trip to the Bahamas.
The trips are part of a recent trend of celebrities traveling with their biggest fans on South Florida-based cruise ships. The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block have hosted three and four day cruises on various Carnival ships where fans meet and take photos with the singers, attend themed-parties, play trivia games and attend their concerts.
KC and the Sunshine Band, formed in Hialeah in 1973, are headlining the inaugural “Ultimate Disco Cruise” this weekend aboard the Celebrity Infinity from Port Everglades with stops in Key West and Cozumel. Forty of the biggest disco acts of the 1970s — from Gloria Gaynor to The Village People — are performing on the ship. And pop singer Kesha is set to embark on her cruise called the “Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride” Feb. 17-21 from Tampa to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Pearl.
