We have done Alaska 3 times and I'd go back in a minute. My best advice is to do whatever you really want to do.........you may not get back there again. We helicoptered to and walked on the glacier in Juneau and Skagway. Mendenhall glacier in Juneau was better. We also went whale watching in Juneau, excellent! We too the float plane in Misty Fjords (Ketchikan). We also did the Lumberjack show in Ketchikan. Great town for walking in.1 point -

tljones, great excursion suggestions from Howard and Kevin. The only thing we could add is while in Juneau be sure to stop in at the Red Dog Saloon for a beer!1 point
