Yes, for September. I don’t remember seeing any from the ship, but there will be whale watch excursions available from a number of ports. In October, they leave for warmer places.
All i can add is that we have tailored our packing down considerably because we no longer do formal nights. We did about 30 formal night cruises and then decided we prefer to not go to the dining room on formal nights any more. We don't need any expensive photos either. So we remain cruise casual and go up to the buffet on those evenings .... so much more relaxed.
@Shari2 WOW I did not know that about the S.S. Consitution! That must have been pretty fantastic to sail onboard. I would love to sail onboard a ship that has a history like that, as much as I love the new ships and the innovation they hold I love me some history!
We were on the Koningsdam and absolutely loved the presentations in the World Stage Theater. With the backdrop screens in one production they were showing scenes from BBC's Planet Earth and the orchestra was onstage live providing the supporting music. It was spectacular! This type of set-up opens up lots of new possibilities for entertainment.
