Carol, Thank you for the great review. I really enjoyed reading about the Dawn. The freestyle dining and ten restaurants to choose from sounds amazing. I love that you can eat whenever you want , 5:30- midnight. Now that sounds like a real vacation, no rushing to be anywhere at any time. Sounds like a wonderful cruise and a wonderful time. A friend of ours uses duct tape to tape the shower curtain to the floor when he showers so that the curtain doesn't stick to his you-know-what during his shower. :o :o :o :lol: :lol: :lol:

Taichi, We have cruised many times in inside cabins. We really enjoy the darkness in the morning , very conducive to sleeping late . For me, the cabin is very cozy. :P I think sailinglisa's suggestion above about setting the tv, is a great one. :D

gogetter, That sounds like fun. My mom and dad have done that many times and always enjoyed themselved. Mom now does that with the social club from her condo and they leave from Port Everglades. Have a great time! :D sailinglisa, The summers here are not as hot as the summers we hear about in other states. The humidity is really high but I think you get used to that, I know I did. Very often, in the summer it might be 92 degrees here and when we talk to my SIL in Brooklyn, she says it 97 degrees there. To be honest , the heat doesn't faze most people I know since we go from the air conditioned house to the air conditioned car to whatever destination that is also air conditioned. I guess those that are outdoorsy types like joggers or tennis players must feel it but it doesn't seem to stop anyone. Hubby and I do our walking in the evening and we never go to the pool until after the sun goes down. B)

Duct tape is very versatile and extremely important to take with you. I've heard of so many things you can do with it that I always take it along. It can be used to patch a torn suitcase or garment bag and It can be used to hold up a hem on a dress or pants. What do YOU use it for??? :rolleyes: Let's see how innovative we can be.
