    Two price drops and ship board credit, congratulations! You still have a few more months so maybe they will be more! Our Sept Conquest cruise has also dropped in price. We like that!

    Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman is not to be missed. As far as Cozumel there are many listed, however we've never spent a beach day there so we have no recomendation. Same for Montego Bay

    We've become a little more conservative over the years and cruises and your advise on avoiding being nickel and dimed is spot on. Maybe with age we're just a little wiser. We no longer take money we intend to lose in the casino and we seldom book ship excursions. We kicked the bingo habit many cruises ago and we haven't bought art for a long time. I must admit we do indulge in the over priced spirits and Rita still loves the gift shops and the spa. So we are adding to the cruise line's bottom line.

    For us it's when the ship heads out to sea and we can finally relax and enjoy each other's company and let the world pass us by for at least 7 days. No cell phone calls, emails, etc. No news is good news! Only contact us in case of an emergency!

    Our next 3 cruises are from NOLA. Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn near the Superdome, which included free parking for the cruise and shuttle service to the port, For our next cruise in Sept we opted for the Quality Inn and Suites just across the Mississippi River in Gretna. They get great reviews for their park and cruise package. We may use them again in December for our B2B.
