  1. It sounds like you guys are hooked on cruising and hooked on each other! Forty years-- WOW
  2. Well, we were aboard ship when this thread was started and our favorite spot is anywhere aboard ship!
  3. Gymbrat33, We finally got the time to read your review--great job. We are glad you and your Mom enjoyed the cruise! The $10 shipboard credit for missing Key West sounds low. One of our cruises missed a port and they gave us a $100 cedit! Apparently the port charges in Key West are very low.
  4. We stay up late, sleep late and have a late breakfast. Then we head to a sun deck to lounge around. We like to enter the slot tournaments and sometimes we even play bingo. We do not set a schedule--we just do what ever we decide at the time.
  5. On our most recent cruise we bought silver necklaces for two of our Grand Daughters who were both turning thirteen last Jan. We found them in our favorite shopping port--St Martin.
  6. Welcome back to the grind April!
  7. We are here to root you on CruiseCrazy friend!
  8. What size diner table to you prefer while on a cruise? We've had a table for two up to a table for twelve. The table for two was a special request and we really enjoyed it. We were treated like royalty while celebrating our actual wedding anniversary on board. The table for twelve was a request, as well, when we met up with others we cruised with in the past. Generally if we are cruising alone we like a round table for eight which is a great way to meet interesting people. We have been lucky so far (knock on wood) we have not had any table mates from hell! Of course, maybe some thought we were! Also, the rectangular diner tables we don't particularity like.
  9. Have a great Alaska cruise, sailinglisa!
  10. Franki, How did you like the old Westerdam? We loved the ship, however, it did not seem to ride well in the rough seas on our cruise. For 1 or 2 days the dining rooms were only about half full because of the ill passengers and staff. We took the chewable motion sickness pills they gave us and were okay.
  11. Have a great time on the Horizon!
  12. HOW ABOUT THIS ONE? The Craven Once aboard a cruiseship dear, while they pondered which way to steer, we were weak and weary from many a quaint and curious volume of Corona beer! While we nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of someone gently rapping, rapping at our stateroom door. " 'Tis just room service," I muttered, "tapping at our stateroom door; bringing us more Coronas, and nothing more."
  13. So sorry your cruise is over, however.. Home!
  14. Congratulations Howard--they are all great ports!
  15. Roses are red, violets are purple; being on a cruise is sweeter than maple syrurple!
