    Don't feel bad Mebert--we have booked our own air and so far so good. If we had booked on that same cruise out of San Juan we would have done as exactly as you did. The only time we let the cruise line book our air is in the winter for the obvious reasons, or for our Alaska cruise for the same reason stated by sailinglisa. It sounds like another cruise line on or near that date would be a good choice.

    A repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Hawaii to the Mexican Riviera thru the canal to Aruba and a few other eastern Caribbean Islands we haven't been to. It might be more than 30 days--but who's counting! :D :D

    Hi Stacie396, We cruised the Mexican Riviera On the Carnival Elation. It was a very good cruise and the Elation, although a little glitzy, was a nice ship. What ever cruise line/ship you choose you will be in for a treat. There is no bad cruises, only good, better, and excellent. Don't worry about minor glitches that may or may not occur--just enjoy yourself. Our itinerary was Puerto Vallarta, Matzalan, and Cabo St. Lucas. All were very good. :) :)

    Is anybody else having problems with their clocks? Since our cruise starts December 29 we should have less than 30 days. I checked the time and date and it is entered correctly.

    We always seem to bring back drink of the day plastic glasses, magnets, drink coasters, ship photo albums, and portraits from the ship's photographer. Rita cannot make a decision on which ones to buys--so she buys them all!

    Our favorite is HAL's private island--Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. Although we are not exactly world travelers we think it is the most beautiful beach we have seen. B) B)
