    FriendshipTeacher, I really enjoyed sailing the southern Caribbean on the Carnival Destiny, my first cruise. The itinerary has changed slightly but it's still a nice one. The Destiny sailed out of Puerto Rico to St. Thomas, Martinque Barbados, Aruba and then back to Puerto Rico. I believe Martinque was replaced with Dominica. The Destiny is also a very beautiful ship.

    Mebert, Wayne wears size 15. He's six feet, 2 inches tall. txsherry, My kids spent a lot of time over the last 12 years at Camp Carnival activities. GottaCruz, Wayne must know what I'm talking about. He's got me beat. I hope he wears big comfortable dress shoes as well. You didn't mention whether or not Jason still participated with Camp Carnival.

    mercedes, Thank you for the article. I'm very interested in the progress of the Carnival Freedom since I'll be sailing her in April. jacketwatch, I have to admit I like the huge ships too. Pretty soon, they won't have to sail anywhere. We can board in Miami at the bow and walk to the stern and step off in Nassau.

    txSherry, I've seen some women wear some really flashy and dresssy flats. They looked very much in place and the women seemed very comfortable. I know some women sacrifice their feet and bear a lot of pain to stay at the peak of fashion. Thank God I'm a man and can wear big shoes because my feet are a size 14. I'm only 6 feet. :biggrin:
