    My next cruise was approaching so quickly that I was afraid that I wouldn't have anything to look forward to after that sailing. Therefore, I booked a short cruise on August 25 on the Carnival Celebration. Now I can breath again.

    Most of my cruises have been with Carnival. I'm very comfortable with them and know the all of the procedures as far as dress code and dining choices. I have been disappointed and lost a lot of money based on telephone information given to me by a representative of another line during an emergency situation. I must admit that this is very subjective. I just feel that I've been treated better by Carnival.

    The following rule is related to the Jones Act and prevented us from boarding a Celebrity cruise ship in Juno Alaska: "No foreign vessels shall transport passengers between ports or places in the United States, either directly or by way of a foreign port, under a penalty of $300 for each passenger so transported and landed."

    I always purchase caps with the name of the city or country that I'm visiting.

    gymbrat33, Thanks for the great pics of the Fascination. The ship looks like it's in great shape. I had a great time on the Fascination and it was in good shape when I sailed, but it looks like it's in much better shape now.

    I'm really happy to say that nothing as ever been missing from the cabin. The crew seems to be really good about that.
