    Hi vcop102, I remember I used to get motion sickness as a child but it only happened when I could smell the fumes from the bus or if someone had on a strong perfume. The small children on the ships I've sailed on seem to do very well.

    gogetter, It depends on the port. Some ports in Europe require that you have a passport. It's best to take a copy of the passport with you and ask the cruise line if you need to take it with you. I usually take it with me because I sometimes wander off the beaten path.

    The Skipper, I saild from Port Canaveral once. It took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to get to the pier from the airport. I think I paid something like $30 round trip then. The cruise line arranged for the service. If your car rental company can arrange to take the car at the pier, I think that's the way to go. Otherwise, it's taking a bus from the airport.

    Sometimes I like to be in touch with family and friends while I'm on vacation because it offers me peace of mind to know that they are o.k. and I can update them on my activities if they care to hear about it.
