Jimmykaboots, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I found it very informative and feel the same way as you do about the port of Miami. It's really busy. I try to avoid it and leave from Fort Lauderdale instead. I'm glad you had somewhat of a good time and am sorry that your experience with Royal Caribbean was not wholly a pleasant one. I hope your next cruise is more satisfying. I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

The Skipper, Thanks for the update. I agree with you about not being disappointed about not docking in Bermuda, but a few folks must have been disappointed if Bermuda was the to be the highlight of their cruise. I'm glad the captain made the safe decision. I'd rather sail back home safely then attempt to dock in bad weather. Get home safely, buddy.

sewut51, You have cause to be very concerned. To me it seems extremely inappropriate for a waiter to interact like that with a child. I would have discretely called him over and told him how I felt and that he should not joke like that with my child again. Of course I would do it after dinner and make sure he wasn't my server for the duration of the cruise. I don't trust what goes on in kitchens after I've made a complaint about someone's character. I'm also sorry that the complaint was about a Carnival crew member. They are usually better than that.
