Hi DonaldMC! WELCOME!...it's so nice to have you on CruiseCrazies with us. I love hearing about your cruises and seeing the great pictures. I love the picture of the "Norway." We also cruised on her a few years back. I haven't been on the QM 2, but I have friends who have sailed on her many times. We would love to have you join in our forums and would love to hear all about some of your cruises. We have forums for reviews, pictures, information, and much more. We even have a forum to just chat, called "The Daily Dock." Come and join in on any of the forums...we will love to hear from you. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.

Great for Australians to have some nice seven-day cruises to visit the Great Barrier Reef, and other places...and for anyone who would like to visit Australia and stay awhile, etc.

Wow! With all the hurricane flooding here I didn't realize that Australia was in such a bad drought. So very nice to be helping out the farmers, and so nice of P&O to give cruises to farmers. So great to hear of people helping people in need. Is there an address to send a donation? They will all be in my prayers.

Think you may be right, Jan. In years past that may have worked well for parents, but today so many parents are working and want to spend more time with family, and travel with the children, and do bring along grandma or someone to help with the kids. Also it may be a tough decision to leave the children alone in the cabin with a stranger...although I am sure they are well vetted. Times have changed.

Andi...your review is wonderful, and as Jan said very informative, and an excellent overview as what to expect for a first-timer. Thank you for taking the time to write all of this. I enjoyed all of it and learned a lot. Thanks again, and so glad you had a nice cruise, and tours to interesting places.

Sorry for all who have to make changes in their plans, and hope it's not a rocky ride, but now I am worried for my friends who live in N. Carolina. Have friends by the coast and friends inland. Also friends in S. Carolina and Virginia...and hoping it doesn't go up the Coast either...friends there also. Also hoping it doesn't hit Florida again. Also have friends there. Saying prayers for all.

Bummer that they can't stop in Bermuda, but most likely will still have a great cruise, and the Captain will keep them safe...hoping the storm doesn't hurt Bermuda or our own Eastern Coast.
