  4. Yep, busy as usual. DH and I just celebrated our 20th annniversary yesterday. We still travel alot, been to San Diego, Ireland, did a short cruise awhile back to the Bahamas and looking to cruise this Christmas..nothing booked yet tho. Also we're going with 9 other couples to an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica this October. My son just started college..OMG..I can't believe I have a son in college...how the hell can I be old enough for that!! LOL!! Next week, along with 2 other couples, we rented a 65 ft. 4 bedroom, house boat (with a slide.lol) and are going to cruise the St. John's river..should be fun!
  5. Hi Cheryl!! I couldn't miss the anniversary party! LOL...I know I haven't been here for awhile..but I always think of everyone..Love your pic...I guess I had better update my pix...LOL how are you and Jason doing?
  6. Hey there, I know I'm real late, but just walked in the door.....how's the party doing?....I'm I too late?
  7. BON VOYAGE Have a wonderful cruise!!!
  8. Had a great time, perfect weather, good food. The only negative is that they will not serve Corona in the bottle any longer. Last time I was on Fantasy they wouldn't give bottles by the pool, which I can certainly understand...however, this time we could not get them anywhere. We were told that it was because of the limes left in the bottles. Hubby finally got one of the bartenders to serve us Corona in the bottles and then we got our own limes from another bartender...well to make a long story short..we got busted...LOL...the bartender would no longer give us the bottle. He informed us that they get written up if managment finds limes in bottles.... I don't know about anyone else..but a Corona is just not a Corona unless it's in a bottle with a lime!! LOL. They did have plastic bottles but they were awful because the top had some sort of funnel type thing on top and a very cheap plastic which was sharp. Check out the pix........
  9. Being that they are the same class ship, it wouldn't bother me at all.
  10. Thanks everyone! I have my CruiseCrazies door hangs ready!! Whoo-Hoooo!
  11. Same here...Didn't see or hear about any casinos in either place.
  12. About 2 years ago, two friends of mine were on a cruise through the Mediterranean aboard a Princess liner. At dinner, they noticed an elderly lady sitting alone along the rail of the grand stairway in the main dining room. They also noticed that all the staff, ships officers, waiters, busboys, etc., all seemed very familiar with this lady. They asked their waiter, who the lady was, expecting to be told that she owned the line, but he said he only knew that she had been on board for the last four cruises, back to back. As they left the dining room one evening they caught her eye and stopped to say hello. They chatted and my friend asked, "I understand you've been on this ship for the last four cruises?" She replied, "Yes, that's true." My friend stated, "I don't understand," and she replied; without a pause, "It's cheaper than a nursing home." So, there will be no nursing home in my future. When I get old and feeble, I am going to get on a Princess Cruise Ship. The average cost for a nursing home is $200 per day. I have checked on reservations at Princess and I can get a long term discount and senior discount price of $135 per day. That leaves $65 a day for: 1. Gratuities, which will only be about $10 per day. 2. I will have as many as 10 meals a day if I can waddle to the restaurant, or I can have room service (which means I can have breakfast in bed every day of the week, if I want to! 3. Princess has as many as three swimming pools, a workout room, free washers and dryers, and shows every night 4. They have free toothpaste and razors, and free soap and shampoo. 5. They will even treat you like a customer, not a patient. An extra $5/day worth of tips will have the entire staff scrambling to help you. 6. I will get to meet new people every 7 or 14 days. 7. T.V. broken? Light bulb need changing? Need to have the mattress replaced? No Problem! They will fix everything and apologize for your inconvenience. 8. Clean sheets and towels every day, and you don't even have to ask for them. 9. If you fall in the nursing home and break a hip you are on Medicare; if you fall and break a hip on the Princess ship they'll upgrade you to a suite for the rest of your life. 10. Now hold on for the best! Do you want to see South America, the Panama Canal, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, or name anywhere you may want to visit. Princess will have a ship ready to go. So don't look for me in a nursing home, just call shore to ship. PS: And don't forget, when you die, they can just dump you over the side at no charge
  13. BON VOYAGE.....Have a great cruise and tell us all about it when you return!!
