  1. Nice accomodations! Enjoy it. We've never had a suite. We did have a Jr. Suite on the Freedom and it was quite nice.
  2. Do you have a stamp in your passport???? If so from where? We didn't have one until we did Europe 2 summers ago. Our passport was 7 years old. We have 2 stamps both from Barcelona.
  3. I don't think you have to have a passport for Canada but it's really handy for most cruises. The best part is it's usually quicker to go through customs.
  4. We have booked a weekend cruise 3 days in advance. The rate was too good to pass up. It would be hard to do that with a week or more since we have our own business.
  5. Glad you found your way back Lynn. The Crazies will take care of the Explorer for you........That's the ship for our September Canada/New England cruise!
  6. I think I'd love to try Crystal because they are still a very formal cruiseline and the service I've been told is top notch. I'd like to see how "others" live.
  7. If you decided to change cruiselines and money was no object which cruiseline do you want to try most? And Why?
  8. Welcome aboard! Sure wish I was going with you. I'm hoping to get aboard the Freedom sometime soon.
  9. What is the one cruise currently offered by the cruise lines that you would like to go on? For me it would be Asia. I don't think I'll ever get there but it's nice to dream.
  10. The more sea days the better for us! There are some ports we rarely get off in anymore and the ship is definitely not crowded!
  11. Our first cruise wasour honeymoon on Chandris Cruise lines (now Celebrity) Victoria. The year was 1984. It left from San Juan and was the only ship to leave on a Monday. It was all Howie's idea so I blame him for my love of the sea. We went to St. Thomas, Venezuela, Curacao and St. Vincent because the Grenadas were having a civil war so they added in St. Vincent. I remember it being a very elegant affair. Everyone dressed for dinner each night. There were wine stewards back then that really knew their stuff (but I didn't LOL) . I wish I had a picture of the stateroom, it was large in comparison to today's standards and the bathroom was huge!!!!!
  12. Yeah!!!!! So looking forward to getting out to sea again and to see old friends and meet new ones!
  13. Judson and Louise have a marvelous time! Bon Voyage!!!!
  14. I think it's a wide variety of ages. We have sailed with my parents 70's and 80's, our kids when they were little and now that they are young adults. Something for everyone.
  15. Panda, I sail RCI the most and love all the ships I've been on. I think the choice of ships would depend on the itinerary. If you could narrow it down I bit that would help
  16. Welcome aboard Panda. Glad you joined us. I'm sure you'll find many people here that will help you find your next cruise.
  17. Jason added an ad for our cruise on the left side of the forums. The logo is on it.
  18. Great review Ray. I didn't know they sailed to anywhere in Spain except Barcelona (which we loved)
  19. Want to know what everyone thinks of a group lunch in the Dining room on the last day? The last day is always so hectic but thought we could all take time to sit together leisurely one last time. Thoughts???
