    RCI abandoned California because the ship's weren't sailing full. I guess Carnival is having the same problem with Mobile.

    Having had the pleasure of sailing our of Vancouver a few times I have to agree that it's gorgeous. I'm hoping to get back there summer 2012 on my way to Alaska.

    Definitely find a view to look back at the city as you leave. It's an awesome site. As someone who lived there for 30 years I never understood how beautiful it was until we saw her from the water.

    Both Jenn! I've not sailed out of NYC but we sailed out of Brooklyn and really loved all of it!

    There are little perks along the way but the discounts don't start until you reach Platinum in the Crown and Anchor Society

    Yes, Royal Caribbean offers discounts on balconies beginning on your 6th cruise. The higher up you get in their club the bigger the discount.

    I used to buy a magnet and a plate to hang on the wall at every port. Now I just buy the magnets. They are in a shadow box now that we have a stainless refrig. and we use them as wall art in our guest room

    They dont' do that on 3 night cruises that I know of. When we went on the Radiance the 1st time they didn't do the horse race, they did the walk.......On the New Year's cruise they had the auction and I loved it! I think it's up to the cruise director.

    I don't buy as many picutures as I used to. They are getting pretty costly.

    We have meet a few Captain's while touring the bridge and at the Captains Q & A, some we have had the pleasure of sailing with several times but on different ships. It is always enjoyable to hear their experiences but we don't go out of our way to meet most of them.

    Definitely an aft cabin! We had a Mimosa party on the balcony on the Constellation with more then a dozen Crazies! We had a blast and having a large private outdoor space was the best. We have another aft on the next Crazies cruise.
