Personally I don't understand most of the reno's Jackie. They announced all this when we were on board in November. Not sure why they need a nursery........and really all they are going to do is add more pay restaurants. She's a beautiful ship and I hope they leave her that way.

Hi Judson. Congrats on the upgrade! We had a Junior Suite last year and loved it! Still wish you and Louise would join us. We had so much fun on the last Connie cruise. Oh well maybe another time. Hi to Louise!

No Marylou I haven't made the reservation yet. I'll be doing so soon. Hope to be able to start on the port soon. Just been a little swamped lately.

I haven't done this in a while but they did allow us to book our kids across the hall (at 15 and 17 years old) without booking my husband or I in their cabin a couple of years ago. Not sure what the policy is anymore. That said if you can't book the kids alone in the room, you book your wife in one cabin and you in the other, then go to guest relations and get extra keys to both rooms. The only downside is that both you and one of your grandkids will have to carry 2 ship cards.

I guess I would have to price it out various ways. Depending on how old the kids are you could put them in the room across the hall from your balcony, get a suite, or get adjoining rooms. Most end up with 2 rooms. Good luck with the search

The beaches are beautiful in Aruba, the name of my favorite escapes me at the moment.

We were there a few months ago. The pier area is really built up from the 1st time we were there because of the hurricanes. Sorry can't help with the restaurant.

Labadee is Royal Caribbeans private Island. It has palm trees, beaches, clean ocean. There is a BBQ lunch served there too. RCI runs all the shore excursions so they are safe. They have a roller coaster and a zip line as well as water sports. There are Haitian markets to buy from if you choose to do so but you can just avoid that area if you choose. It is a nice beach day.

Yes we knew and it seems they did it fairly this time and took none of the perks away.
