    As long as I have a closet full of formal wear that still fits, and Jim can still fit in his tux, we will dress for formal night. There sure is no place around here to wear things like that

    Jan - I enjoyed your review and glad you made the best of this cruise. It sounds like you did have a good time despite some cutbacks. Sadly with each passing cruise we take on any line the cut backs are more and more noticeable.

    I agree with Shari. I know holiday cruises are popular but Jim would never agree to be away for Thanksgining or right before or during Christmas

    Jan - the wine allowance on RC is 2 bottles per cabin - not per person.

    Public transportation - bus or ferry - is very good and get you where you want to go.

    Larry - I have to add to Jan's post. We have taken 26 cruises to Bermuda and have NEVER been on a cruise where someone wasn't injured on the scooters while there. On our last cruise in May we had 2 people on board who were injured and 1 person left behind in the hospital

    It doesn't make sense to me to let the cabins go empty when cruisers could pick them up at the last minute at a discounted rate. We have booked way in advance (20 months )and also at the last minute (4 days before sailing) We just booked our Summit to Bermuda cruise less than 2 weeks before sailing at the very discounted rate. We will still spend lots of money on board - probably even more than usual. Any empty cabin will add nothing to the ships profits.
