Not really. I could be standing in front of an infected person in the grocery store but I can't stop buying food. I'm just very careful and wash hand frequently

Jan - We also spent out honeymoon at Elbow beach nearly 48 years ago and that's where our love affair with Bermuda began. From what we heard on board the Summit it a "pilot" ship to gauge reaction to the new buffet. I did send a letter to Celebrity afterwards telling them how much we disliked the new set up and just yesterday received a phone call from Corporate telling me they are compiling reaction to the new set up and have forwarded our letter both to corporate and the ship. At least they read their mail.

I brought the allery aspect up to the hotel director and the loyalty hostess as our grandson has Celiac. They said we would just have to ask for different meals. I agree it is a lot more work for the staff

Thanks Keith & Rita. As far as I'm concerned it was a disaster. They claim it is to avoid spreading germs and to cut down on food waste. Jim & I always eat everything we take from the buffet but threw away more food than we ate. We did have a piece of veal piccata that neither one of us could cut.

Sounds like despite a few problems you had a great cruise. It's always nice to read how the advice of fellow Crazies helped in your planning and tours. I would have been pretty upset over the wine issues.

We attended the reveal in NYC last week and although I must say that all the food we sampled from the various venues was delicious we don't like this new concept. We enjoy having a set table at a set time and getting to know our Waiter and Assistant Waiter. Having experienced this type of dining with NCL, we will NOT be trying it on Royal Caribbean. I just hope it doesn't go fleet wide

We had a wonderful cruise on the Eclipse and despite Jim's fears that 14 days would be too long, they time flew by. I will get working on my review this week but have been very busy catching up from being away for 3 weeks. Drive to Florida was good and drive home was long. The shortened version though is that the Eclipse did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations.

Sounds good but I hope they also increase security there. Our last 2 trips there we never left the ship after being constantly followed and bothered by the locals on our previous trips. It's a shame but we wanted to see so much of Ocho Rios but really felt unsafe.
