On our upcoming cruise we will be in St. Maarten from 12 noon til 9PM. Does anyone have any experience at this port in the evening? I'm wondering if the shops will be open and if there will be things to do before we sail. I am used to sailing by dinner time from each port so this will be a new, exciting way to see the Island. However, I have been unable to find a tour company that will start off in the afternoon - plenty all ready to take you around in the AM.

I really have nothing to add to what has already been said other than to tell you we are here for you thru the planning stages of your first cruise. The only bad question is the one you don't ask. I have not sailed on the Rhapsody yet but have been on many RC cruises and been to all the ports you mentioned. Have fun planning your first cruise but beware - you will be hooked on cruising by the end of your first day. LOL

DH always takes his own clubs with him. They usually fit right into the closet and are not in the way. He checks them through with our luggage.

Welcome back Arvids. Glad you had a good time but sorry about the PCD. You do know there is a cure for that though. Just call your TA and you will be fine soon.
