    Great question - thanks for bumping it up Cheryl. I would like to be a Undercover Company Spy. They could send me on different ships to different locations to report back with my observations on what should be done to make the cruise experience wonderful. I could send back passenger comments, etc. Sort of like a real life comment card!!

    I always hang the Cruise Crazies sign on my door. Lots of people look, but very few have asked about it. I have never taken a photo of it but will do so in August. I already have put the sign in my folder so I don't forget it.

    First of all Sunbeam - Welcome to Cruise Crazies. I hope you will post often and enjoy your time here. After 9/11 I had a bad experience with a TA I had used for years. I then tried a couple of on-line agencies but found by doing my research I knew more than they did. Since then I have been booking direct with the cruise lines. I like to be able to get in touch with them and not have to go thru a TA. We always sail from a port close to home so airfare is not an issue.

    Welcome Yellow Bird - So glad you have decided to join us. I hope you will post often. Since I really don't care for the small coffee cups at the buffet the first thing I buy are 2 large coffee mugs with the name of the ship on the mug. I use them during the cruise and When we get home I hang one on my kitchen wall over the cabinets and use the other one. If I sail on a ship more than once they usually have a mug with the ports-of-call on it so I buy that one instead.

    As hard as I try and as late as I stay up I still can't make it much past 6AM even on vacation. Jim keeps telling me they will manage to make the coffee without me but it doesn't work. I sneak out of the cabin, go up on deck, get my coffee and daily ships paper and plan our day. I usually catch up with him about 3 hours later.
