When the cruise is over we repack a bit differently. One large bag is used for any unworn clothes and all our shoes and accessories andthe souveniers and things we bought. The other bag we just dump the laundry in, refold the hamper and put it on top. Since the clothes are all headed for the wash you don't have to be neat about it. If we are having space problems I just leave the hamper behind and pick up another one in the Dollar stores when I get back

We also bring a collapsible hamper.....folds perfectly flat in the suitcase and holds all our laundry.
As a side benefit to using the extra large zip locks - on one previous cruise our bottom dresser drawer would not close completely. When we pulled it out to see why there were a couple of pieces of clothing on the floor which apparently fell over the top of an overstuffed drawer. Our room attendant confirmed that this happens quite often. With each days clothes packed in a bag there is no way I could "Miss" a full days worth of clothes if this should happen.

I also use the extra large zip lock bags. I pack one days worth of clothes in each bag then when the bags are empty reuse them for laundry. Keeps all my outfits organized and I just have to grab one bag each morning and it has everything I will need for the day.

Joey & David - I wish you BON VOYAGE as you head for the Summit and your cruise through the Panama Canal. Could you tell us when you will actually be transiting the Canal....Perhaps we can see you on the Krooz-Cams!!
We will miss you but know you will come back with lots of photos and a great review of the Summit. I hope your friends enjoy their first cruise.

Congratulations on the booking frostyboy. Your cruise will be here before you know it. I also favor Royal Caribbean but have not sailed on the Enchantment. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
I know I took your post in the spirit that you meant it. I thought it was very original and funny. Keep it up and you will get that upgrade sooner than you think
Congratulations on getting your Docs Mercedes. It may be a short cruise but it is still a cruise. Enjoy the rest of the anticipation. You will be sailing before you know it.
We have been cruising for the last couple of years with 3 other couples we met on a cruise. We always meet for dinner but other than that we have a set schedule IF anyone want to join. We set a time to meet for lunch, a time & place to meet for pre-dinner cocktails and a time & place for a nightcap. We all fully understand that we won't wait around for anyone - if you are there great - if you are doing other things - great also. It has worked out well for us in the past and when we do get together at dinner have plenty to talk about and great experiences to share. (We also get together 3 or 4 times a year on a non-cruise weekend - they will be coming to our home for Presidents weekend soon)
I sure wish we were close enough to join you all but please take lots of photos and post them so we can all at least feel like we are with you. We will be with you in spirit though.
My one pet peeve is "Complainers" There always seems to be one person who you constantly meet on the ship that has nothing good to say about the ship, the food, the crew, etc. They seems to delight in having a miserable time and hope to convince you that you are having a bad time also.
