sailinglisa - Thanks so much for your wonderful review of your cruise. I also had goosebumps just thinking of the Statue on the Cliff and the ship playing the Ave Maria over the loudspeakers. It was the highlight of our Canada/New England cruises in 2000 and 2001. I'm glad you enjoyed the Enchantment - guess I will have to add it to our "must do" list.

Gogetter - Seems like you had a nice day. Since you sound like you might be familiar with the area what would you suggest for us to do during our stop there next year. We arrive at 6AM and do not leave til 7PM. We do not want to go to Disneyworld (well we really do but don't want to be rushed and know that is not possible) but would we be able to go to Cape Canaveral for some time there? How far would it be from the ship to the Cape.? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Welcome SKAOLboy. I'm confident you will find all the information you are looking for right here. We generally bring home liquor from our cruises but as long as you stay within the limits allowed by Customs have never had a problem. Which private Island are you going to? RC has two of them - Coco Cay and Labadee. Both are great beach days and I'm sure you and your girlfriend will have a great time.

I guess I would fall into the SUPER thorough category. I have my pre-boarding information all done for my cruises next May and next September. I haven't booked excursions yet but already have a pretty good idea what we will be doing in each port. I have folders fur each port right here on my computer desk so when I find info I think we might be interested in I put it in the folder. Then a month or so before the cruise I will go through it and make a final decision. A lot of the fun in cruising is the anticipation - plus this helps the time go a little faster.

Thanks Ann - I will check the shore excursions with RC. I usually wait til we get a little closer to our sailing date but I guess you can never be too early.

The Skipper - Can you give me a little more info about Jungle beach? Sounds like a great day. How far from the cruise dock is it and what do they have there in the way of beach chairs, food and facilities.
