  1. Bon Voyage CruzNut2. We look forward to hearing all about it when you return.
  2. BON VOYAGE ~~ Have a wonderful cruise.
  3. Thanks for the review jbond. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
  4. Have a great cruise Sweetaspeaches22. Don't forget to post a review for us when you return.
  5. I have to agree with Suzila. As much as I love cruising I can't imagine not being home for the holidays. Celebrating them a week early or a week late just won't work for us and as for Thanksgiving I would have to be down in the Galley peeling and cooking the potatoes and turnips as well as the turkey. LOL
  6. Welcome home jbond. After you have rested up we'll be anxious to hear all about your trip.
  7. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY Rose & Howie and have a wonderful cruise. Best wishes for many more happy years of cruising.
  8. Congratulations on the new booking. Alaska is definately on our "to do" list.
  9. That sounded like a terrible trip. I hope all your future sailings make you completely forget about any bad past experiences you have had.
  10. Thanks for the link. It's a great site with lots of useful information
  11. Ann - If you haven't found the web site yet www.Voyager-class.com has lots and lots of photos of the Explorer. We don't sail on her til next May and I already feel like I know my way around the ship.
  12. I'm sorry your TA is taking some of the pre-cruise joy out of your trip and adding a lot of aggravation. If you are able to change cabins we were in 9692 on the Voyager in May and you will love the balcony. We have 9692 booked on the Explorer for next May. It is a long walk back to your cabin but well worth it when you get out on the balcony. ( I also felt is justified having that second dessert at dinner each night. LOL) Relax and enjoy your trip - you deserve it after all you have been put through.. MaryLOu
  13. We are still looking for fellow cruisers on our planned trips. I know it is early and not everyone is as anxious as we are but this Meeting Hall is a wonderful addition to this site. MaryLou
  14. Have a great cruise on the Adventure. Can't wait to hear all about your trip when you return. MaryLou
  15. Before DH retired we attended 2 or 3 formal affairs every year. With quite a few gowns and DH having hiis own tux, we look forward to formal night on the ship and enjoy dressing up for a change. Otherwise the formal clothes would be attracting moths in the closet.
  16. We have not had the pleasure of cruising with any "Cruise Crazies" that we know of but since we have met so many great folks on our cruises I suppose it is possible that we have. The new Meeting Hall will be a wonderful way to meet fellow passengers. MaryLou
  17. I have a small flag I hang from our balcony when the ship is in port. Helps to locate our room from the pier. Last cruise our Room Attendant even reminded me I forgot to hang the flag and told me if I left it out he would put it out for me.
  18. I check whenever I have a few spare minutes on=line. I have found reductions on quite a few occasions. I called my TA and they did a price reduction. (For some reason I never have the time to call my TA when the prices go up. LOL) MaryLou
  19. The $3.95 coupon to Johnny Rockets will cover their meal. Beverages are extra and are not covered by the coupon. I believe the shakes were a $3.95 additional charge when we there in May and IMHO very much worth it. Enjoy
  20. We prefer the larger tables - in fact the larger the better. We have met some great new friends around the dinner table on a ship and we can dine alone every night at home. If we want a dinner alone during the cruise there are always alternative dining options available to us.
  21. Thanks for the great photos Rose. I can't believe we will have to wait til May 19th to sail on the Explorer. In the meantime I will learn all I can about the ship and enjoy the photos.
  22. Salingrose - Thanks for your review of the Explorer. We will be on this ship next May, also in an aft cabin on deck 9. We will be doing the Eastern Caribbean from Cape Liberty. Hopefully the food will improve by then though I am sure we will not starve. LOL. Any hints you can pass on to us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks MaryLou
  23. Welcome back - We are booked on the Explorer for May 2006 so would be interested in any ship details you can give us. Certainly hope the food improves before we sail. What exactly did you find wrong with the food - just so we will be prepared. Thanks for any info you can give us. MaryLou
  24. Have a great cruise on the Explorer. Since we will be on her next May we can't wait to hear all about the ship. ENJOY!!! ENJOY!!! ENJOY!!!
