Hello, I had some difficulty with a Carnival PVP, or whatever they are called. I called to gripe about it and ended up with an upgrade to a balcony cabin. So, we went from a 3 night inside on the Fantasy....to a 4 night inside on the Fascination, to an oceanview on the Glory 7 nighter Western, to now a balcony on the Glory. Never had a balcony before.........so this should be interesting.... :grin:

As far as charging a fee for changing....no they did not.....from what i understand........as long as final payment HAS NOT been made you can do just about anything....cancel....change.....so....... It worked out great this time. THEN i find out we will be in Key West for part of Fantasy Fest.... What am i in for??????????????????????

Hello, Well, a friend called today and said he was going on the Glory 2 weeks after our Fascination cruise and the price was $446....ok....called and it went up a hundred dollars.........rats......do you offer any specials i ask...sure are you past miliatry........sure am...Navy.....get the military discount and price comes to $496 a person.......for the 7 nighter western... Changed our booking...we got it.....so we went form the 3 night Fantasy...to the 4 night Fascination.....to the 7 night Glory.... What a way to go..........

Hello, Well as the line in the movie says......You can't handle the truth....lol....anyways...... I have before and i haven't. Doesn't really depend on anything. I would say 2 out of 10 times i have and that was for the longer cruises. 5 and 7 days.

:grin: Hello, Just an update.................. I kept the Carnival reservation....................i happened to call back and viola the price went down 40 smackaroos. But then they tell me i can't get that rate because i already have a past guest rate. I tell them...who cares what you call it, just give me the lower rate.....all this goes on for a while....and i end up talking to a supervisor......h apologizes and gives me the best rate......i then explain everything i have gone through.....he apologizes again and said it never should have gotten this far. So.....the 4 nighter on the Fascination to Key West and Cozumel is costing me for 2 people.....583.44, just under $73 a day pp. Not too bad....huh????
