Looks like Carnival's embarkation times state 12:30 for most Florida cruises. My wife and i decided to show up about 1ish since they really won't allow you to get to your staterooms until 1;30 or so anyways. I remember the good ole days, pre 2005 where you could board about 10:30 or 11 and have luggage before 1:30 aahhh the days...

Well, i dont know how nice i should be...........i joined THE BEST cruise message board because of the *()&()&^%^%^$#$%$%&))(()()&*^%%^*^&^&%^&%%#$%$#@#@$@#!. BS that another board dealt me and others. I have my own reason why Jason started this and i am proud, i mean very proud of him. I guess you could say i have seen Jason grow up to a great young man. He set his mind to do something while still in High School and without a doubt this has become a success. AWESOME JOB JASON. tOO BAD you can't clone yourself, the world would be a much better place with young adults alike yourself leading the way! I have to also congratulate his parents in their efforts of eaising a great kid. Like others have said and the motto speaks for itself....this is the friendliest cruisn boared around. tI have not witnessed any backstabbing, insulting or demaning post condemning people for their views and thoughts. I be;ieve other boards are so F()* hypocritical in the fact they have guidelines, someone starts something mean and if you respond, you are suspended. I guess i have come to a point in my life where i am not going to let people talk down, mean or dirty to me. Thank you and have a nice day.

In my experiments in life i have found, that tipping early whether it be on land or sea, the service goes down dramatically during the time. Only 1-2 times has i it got better.

I sure would. The cruise line wouldn't matter to me as long as the price was affordable for me.

Do you tip anyone working the buffet or tip any servers or bartenders any more? I know they add the tip in , on drinks, but do you slide them more, so they will remember you? I do, especially at the beginning of the cruise....

OK. so i will play the other side of the coin. It was stated Disney ships were built with families in mind. Ok no problem. I guess. But if there is no gambling because of families, do families partake in alcohol? Seems like a double standard. No doubt alcohol is more socally acceptable however as a mature individual i would say alcohol and all it's fingers destroys MORE lives than gambling. Would anyone agree or disagree? Just want to have a MATURE conversation.

Of course. Gambling is entertainment to me. NOT an addiction.

Thanks for the help. She isn't digging the speciality steakhouse. We booked an inside......nice and dark and it seems like we get better sleep. We are going to Key West...haven't been there before.....
