    Looking for hotel recommendation in Ft. Lauderdale. We have stayed in a few over the years, but none really stick out in my memory. And, it has been a couple of years since we have overnight prior to a cruise in FTL. Which hotel do you recommend for a short pre-cruise stay?????

    We too have given up on the pictures. Already have too many and they are simply too expensive anymore. That's what digital cameras are for! We use our own.

    We have been on the other side of the coin in Tampa. Aboard ship and could not enter Tampa Bay due to heavy fog. We finally disembarked at about 4 PM. What a zoo the terminal was jammed with both embarking and disembarking folks. We, like most missed our flight home. During the day we called from the ship and switched to the next morning and rented a room near the Tampa airport for the night. You do what you have to do!!!!!

    My vote is for Princess and we have sailed many times on both lines.

    I think most of us pack too much. Going to try and do two weeks in Europe with one large drop-bottom duffle bag and one carry-on and my back pack for the electronics.
