  1. I have it every cruise. I love it. Cruises are the only time I have it though. Cinndy won't eat them.
  2. would Cindy ? That's what we have in common. She also wouldn't forgive me.
  3. The last time I was in a casino (except for walking through and taking a picture now and then) on a cruise ship was in 1999 on our 1st cruise. But we would join the group for something like this. It sounds like fun. And if we did hit the jackpot, I'd never forgive myself for not joining in the fun.

That was a great review, John. This is a line that we may have to look at in the future. You certainly peeked my interest.

Nice review, John. I love the Spirit Class. We're thinking about the Mexican Riviera for our next cruise, so this review comes in handy.
  9. Ok how does that sound? Fun ? No? Yes? Sounds great!
  10. The way I feel about it is that I'll stick with Traditional Dining, but, to each his own.
  11. Just 29 minutes. That's all it took for the maiden voyage of Cunard's much-awaited new ocean liner, the Queen Elizabeth, to sell out today after it went on sale worldwide at 8 a.m. ET. Cunard says the frenzy for the first voyage of the 2,092-passenger ship, a replacement for the recently retired Queen Elizabeth 2, set a new record at the line. Never before in Cunard's 170-year history has a maiden voyage sold out so fast. The October 2010 voyage sold out even more quickly than last year's final voyage of the QE2. That sailing sold out in 36 minutes when it went on sale in June 2007. Cunard today also put five more Queen Elizabeth voyages scheduled in 2010 on sale, and the line says those trips sold heavily, too. In all, more than half of the space on the ship's six 2010 voyages sold within the first two hours of Cunard's phone lines openings. Only customers who have sailed before on the line were allowed to book today. The ship goes on sale to the general public tomorrow. “This is an impressive record set by what will be an impressive ship and speaks volumes about the Cunard brand as well as for the resilience of the cruise sector as a whole in these challenging times,” says Carol Marlow, president and managing director of Cunard Line. The Maiden Voyage, now sold out, will depart from Cunard’s homeport of Southampton on Oct. 12, 2010, en route to the Canary Islands.
  12. Great review, Debbie. Thanks. That's one cruise which we would love to take in the future.
  13. That sounds like it could be fun. Also was wondering if anyone would be interested in a slot pull? We did a cabin crawl on our last cruise - it was great - but we have very few different categories of cabins booked on the Connie. On our Jewel cruise we saw just about every category of cabin on the ship. It's a long cruise. We'll be up to doing it all.
