It does seem quite appealing. It sounds like a great place to watch the Super Bowl, especially if there really isn't much of a rooting interest. Maybe one day I could take advantage of some of those bargains.

We usually go, but if there is something else we have to do, we don't feel too bad missing it.

So far, mine has been to Alaska. I can't say that I hated my other cruises, though.

My 1st cruise was way back in 1966. It was on the old Italian Line ship, Leonardo Da Vinci. It was our senior class trip in Nursing School. There was 20 of us on the cruise, 2 men and 18 women. I had a great time on that cruise, but it was hard to evaluate if it was just because of the cruise that I had such a good time or due to other reasons (I was single back then). In 1999, Cindy and I were looking to do something nice for our 20th aniversary and we decided to take a cruise. She happened to be on that 1st cruise also, but we were not even dating at the time. We loved our 1999 cruise so much, that we both got hooked on cruising.As they say, the rest is history.

The Crown had more talbes for 2 than other ships I've been on before. I'm sure that you will have no problem getting a table for 2 in the Anytime Dining areas.

I hang the sign on my stateroom door, but nobody has asked about it. I'll continue to hang one on my door in the future.

I believe that once you choose the Anytime Dining option, you have it for the whole cruise. Of course, if you chose the Traditional Dining option, you can alway use the Alternative dining venues or the buffet any night you want to change your dining time. We always have taken the late seating in the Traditional Dining room, because this works best for us in lots of ways. As far as the dress code goes, its the same in both the Traditional and Anytime rooms.

The menu is exactly the same. The only change is who you may be sitting with, and your servers.

We try to find something that truely comes from the area we're visiting. For example, when we went to Alaska, we bought a miniture Totem Pole. Our collection of souveniers became very eclectic, but that's allright.
