Hi willisonboard and welcome to CruiseCrazies. I think that you have probably talked to the wrong people about Carnival. I'll be willing to bet that most people who have sailed on Carnival probably like it. We have dailed on Carnival, RCCL, and Princess and have found that they really have much more in common than not. I have found things that I liked and didn't like on all 3. I can't believe that on a 1st cruise, you can go wrong with any of the cruise lines. Even our worst cruise was great. BTW, ask our fearless leader, Cheryl, what she thinks of Carnival. Enjoy! :grin:

We're more ready for this cruise than any of our previous ones. Now we just have to pack. :grin:

No Princess bus from Philly. We're still deciding whether to drive or take a limo. I'm leaning on driving, but my wife would prefer a limo. You can have to guess which way we'll probably get there. :grin:

Today, we're officially SDM's. These last couple of months, work has benn so pressure packed I thought the cruise would never come. The 1st 2 days are sea days so I'm really looking forward to just totally decompressing. I could just about smell the sea air. :grin:
