Back in 1975, my nursing school took a senior class trip every year, and ours was to be a Caribbean cruise. We left from NY on the old Leonardo Da Vinci. This was quite a classic ship, but unfortunately, I don't remember too much of the ship at all. What I did remember was the tremendous time that we all had on the cruise. My wife was also on the cruise, but we were not even dating yet. When our 20th anniversary came around, we decided to cruise and booked a cruise on the Nordic Empress to Bermuda. This was our 1st real vacation withouth kids, and we loved it. We decided to cruise to Alaska for our 25th anniversary, but we were so hooked that we have already taken 2 other cruises between our annivarsary cruises. Now were up to 1 per year, and climbing. :grin: Howard

We had no problem on Carnival either. Howard

On the 5 cruises that we have done, Princess haqs been the best of all so far. The others that I'm comparing it to is RCI and Carnival, so tak it for what it's worth. :wink: Howard

We're looking at excursions and see one that is described as a "drift snorkel". Does anyone know what this is ? How does this differ from any other type of snorkelling. My wife doesn't swim too well, but does like to snorkel with some type of flotation devise. Thanks. Howard

Your steward should keep your ice bucket full. A pre-cruise tip does wonders for things like that. :wink: Howard
