  1. That's the reported cases. My point is there are many who don't report. 25% easy.
  2. Bummer. I had noro. I think that if you have 700 reported cases there must be many more not reported. Perhaps you are looking at 25% of all people on board. Thats terrible.
  3. Very, very sad. I hope the survivor recovers fully.
  4. Thanks. Our ship is due in port 0800 and UAL has a flight 1100. If we self embark is that too close?
  5. Can anyone tell me how far the cruise port in Tampa is to the airport. Thank you
  6. Why not just send a sub or warship and sink it? Use it for target practice.
  7. I saw that she is suing for CCL serving her too much booze making her drunk, for not getting to her soon enough and for sending her to a hosp. in Tampa instead of airlifting her to Miami. With so many alleged mistakes its a wonder she survived.
  8. Probably some for sure as most know possible boarding denial could happen if they admit to being ill.
  9. I've had it and it's a drag, especially on vacation though it is usually short in duration. If 66 people reported it I wonder how many had it w/o reporting it knowing they would be quarantined to their cabin? Quite a few I think.
  10. I remember when we went to OR on land vacations many hrs. ago and had a ball. We went there 3 times and never felt harassed or hassled. We had a port stop there in 2009 and got a hard sell when we got off. It's sad to see had things have deteriorated.
  11. just to think it all started at gas stations so long ago.
  12. Wow guys thanks so much. This was a very nice surprise to me and I think its a great idea too.
  13. Thanks. I googled it and found video on you tube. Pretty amazing.
  14. Those who want to see that region will still go no matter what. They are hardy souls
  15. Silk Harvest on the Equinox was wonderful. We ate there twice in fact.
  16. Seems they bent a little though they did up the corkage fee. Our CCL cruise in April allows two bottles per cabin as did our two cruises with Celebrity. Seems this adjustment by HAL is behind the times.
  17. US citizens can legally go to Cuba as part of cultural or educational visits BUT it's very expensive. You can also go illegally thru Mexico, Jamaica or Canada for example and as long as you don't leave a paper trail like with credit cards you shock be fine. They don't stamp your passport and just use cash. A couple I know went and were not impressed as the infrastructure necessary to support a lot of tourists just isn't in place. I would go legally but not for the current prices. Last I saw was 4k for a week AI. I can't see the US dropping the embargo but I hope so.
  18. Sorry about your bad time. It sounds like your cabin attendants were lax and I hope U left appropriate feedback about this and your other issues. Just one thing however and that is shrimp cocktail is supposed to be cool. Again sorry the food overall was not up to standards.
  19. Is X compensating the passengers in some way?
  20. Sorry to read this as I was hoping to read something positive about MSC for a change. It does seem like they bring their cargo roots and practices to the cruise business. I guess they still don't get it.
  21. Great idea. This will no doubt make it more attractive for families.
  22. A full refund would be a nice gesture. I can see from a safety POV that someone confused could cause harm unintentionally to themselves or others so it seems that removal, sadly, is in order. However as Jan said we don't know the whole story.
  23. Princess is very nice and I think for Alaska especially they do a nice job. We cruised there on the Sapphire and were very impressed. Their tours were well done.
