I've booked it with a group of 10 for it's Maiden Voyage sailing from Southampton to NYC on November 2, 2014. It's an 8 day crossing.

Hey CruiseCrazie Caribbean Buddies. Just stopped in to see what U guys are up to. I got some nice news today. Our Mediterranean Cruise on the Voyager of the Seas must not be fully booked because my TA called today and told me that there were some Senior Discounts available for upgrades and for just a very few dollars - I could have a Junior Suite instead of the Superior Balcony Stateroom. That's over 150 feet of extra space so I told her to grab one for us. We've never booked a suite on one of the cruise ships before so this will be a treat for us. We fly to Barcelona in 92 days, 16 hours, 17 minutes, and 10 seconds - LOL!! I'll never forget the two weeks with you guys in the Southern Caribbean. That was our first two week cruise and we enjoyed sharing that time so much with you guys. I think my favorite day was the private boat cruise that we all did while in St. Thomas. That was such a nice day. I'll never forget telling the Captain that he would have to bring his ship dockside as we were not going to climb down into a dingy to ride out to his ship. I think that cruise has to be my number 1 or number 2 favorite. The one in competition for first place would be our cruise to the Caribbean on The Mariner of the Seas when Florida had a hurricane just before our cruise and one while we were on the cruise and we had to spend 3 extra days out because there was no place in Florida where our ship could dock because of the hurricanes. Keep working on the New England Cruise - lookin good.

It's time to start thinking about this Euro purchase thing again. I have to say that for some reason, I really never saw all those ATM machines that I was told about during our Rhine River Cruise this past August. I'm so glad that I had made my purchase before leaving the USA. I fully intend to make my Euro purchase for our Mediterranean cruise this May before leaving the USA.

I just watched your picture presentation of your trip to Venice. The pictures were beautiful. Thank you for posting them. My wife and I will be in Venice for several days following our cruise on The Voyager of The Seas in May of 2011.

Hey guys - I was just catching up on your Canada cruise. Jeeeeeeeeesh Rose - You don't like to stay at home, do you - LOL!!! I just posted on the Review Page my review of the Rhine River cruise. Your plans are looking good. I remember how much fun we had planning for the Southern Caribbean cruise last year. Judson

Hey Guys That shirt design looks fantastic. I'm so sorry that the TShirt Company here in Columbus that did our shirts last year went out of business. No one was more surprised than me when I went in to talk to them about printing your shirts as well as some for me and our Mediterranean cruise in May of 2011. The shirts were good and the price was good. I guess that's part of the economy and a business like that going under. Your plans are looking teriffic. Louise and I leave Friday August 13th on a flight to Amsterdam and the Rhine River Cruise that I've been planning since we all cruised the Southern Caribbean together this past year. It's great seeing Rose, Deb, and MaryLou on FaceBook. If any of the rest of you guys do FB, look me up.

Hey Guys Your trip is sounding great. I was just catching up on all the planning. I do so well remember all our conversations prior to the "Connie Goes Crazie" Southern Caribbean cruise - one of the best that Louise and I have done. Reading your posts brings back some very fond memories. It's great to see all of you again that I don't see on FaceBook.

The day the drop was to $!.20 is the day that I went to my bank and ordered 300 Euros and they were delivered within 48 hours. I've done a lot of reading and finally got a Visa Debit card ( which I have never wanted to use before ) to be used at ATMs to make purchases of Euros. From all the reading that I have done and all the people that I have talked with, the Debit card linked to a checking account is the thing to do. Of course - I know that credit card is used aboard ship and can be used off the ship for purchases in most places. So - I think I've settled all my questions about the money situation.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeesh - I've been totally unable to log in and enter posts on CruiseCrazies for so long - since I posted last on this topic about European River Cruises. Anyway - Out August 2010 river cruise is on the Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel. We booked Globus on the Avalon Luminary. One question that I have right now is Do I need to have Euros? I know you can charge and that most likely US currency works but tell me about Euros. What will I need them for, if I do?
