I have opened up deeper talks with the Holiday inn port of Miami.. couple of things I have invited the group directer to visit cruise crazies... so we may have known or un known visiters.... 2nd and a good point.. for the ones that want to drive parking is available at the pier for 11 per night if you wanted to drive down to the hotel park there pre cruise then drive your self to the pier on embarkation day.. just a suggestion... 3rd please remember this is a long drawn out process..and until we have a hotel confirmed and a guarantee we have no hotel.. the search will continue while we talk with all the vender's.. after all this is and will be a core group decision.. maybe domestically Ed.. do you happen to catch the interview on CNBC i believe it was with Richard Fain who was saying.. because the industry has the capabilities of moving their product to locations of where the demand is strongest the product will do well, he also still believes the domestic cruise public at the end of the day and considering the plus factors.. many locations.. one unpack ..meals and lodging included... he says the industry needs to spin that a bit more and they will be fine.. he also said RCL is still sailing full and at increased prices... maybe not as increased as he would like but elevated non the case....

we will pay for one extra bag between us and utilize the onboard laundry services

Ed we toured her a few months ago with a group.. had lunch etc.... ship was dated.. fairly clean.. food was adequate but not spactacular.... considering what i saw when we toured it's an interesting mixed bag... if it is a short 7/8 nighter and its a great price I may consider it if it wasn't for anytime dining that's the only deal breaker..

Depends Joey, if the traffic is awful not so great! LOL but still..... another big plus....knowing you can buy as many liquid souvenirs ..or heavy items as you want to knowing your car is waiting and there are no restrictions getting them home...unlike some of us who will be flying...

we tend to browse any of stores that catch our interest being a cruise line "approved" location really never enter our minds... as matter of fact we rarely use the map they give you as you stop in each port..

I meant to mention I was looking at our Galaxy Booking for December .. we booked that one so far out .. there are NO fuel charges at all... definately has to be one of the few bookings left industry wide without that charge I would think...
