    Sorry to burst your bubble Joey, but in the UK this past week all the truck drivers went on strike because of the oil prices and there was gridlock in London - and not because of oil men in the WH - in South Africa gas prices hit R10 per litre this week ($1=7.7 Rand) - and not because of oil men in the WH........ unfortunately this is a global problem, not an American problem! Jackie you are aware that fuel prices world wide are linked to the US dollar..??

    ahh then why don't they hide it.......... in taxes and port charges and misc. so your bill would look like ::Cruise $1000. TPM $750 = Total 1750...bottom line .. i would rather not know...

    when it follows thru.... right now there is the old pricing in effect for our group cruise...... This announcement was Carnival brands.....as far as for RCL brands it may be another ....what do you think???? 60 days before it is enacted ....maybe 25 days before it is announced??... is that about right you think?

    but this cruise is selling well from all indications....I would also like to add if you are thinking about this cruise remember if you book through John you get a $100 OBC per stateroom..not to mention a lapel pin! LOL

    when I heard this story this morning on the news.. one of the commentators remarked we are all at mercy at the ingenuity of the CEO's of these companies as they struggle to find ways to generate income to "offset " fuel charges..
