I really am surprised how slowly this cruise is selling... they have opened up guaranteed rooms again (Cat 12) for only 1149 pp... thats for an inside cabin those same cabins on sky deck (cat 9)aren't that much more... wow... I wonder why ...

Todays Question: After booking your cruise... how much planning for the actual cruise portion do you do??.. Keep in mind I am not referring to airfare or hotel planning... I am talking just for the cruise portion... so is it... a little??.. a lot?? or... none?

Take our airfare to san juan for our cruise this december... for this flight i booked through Orbitz (i normally book directly with teh airline website but AA wasnt cheep this time)for a better fare.. got both of my FF preferred airlines we use... going on American and coming back on Delta... we tend buy our tickets early just after they become availible 331 days out or so..in hopes of getting them before they rise in price because of one factor or another..... it turns out ...AA will honor the 2 bags a piece policy because we bought before they changed their rules... Delta on the other hand won't ....anything over one apiece we have to pay surcharges ..luckily for the san juan cruise it will only effect us the one way..

thank goodness that is per person..... we will fly with 3 plus carry on for the both of us...

we will have.. one garment type bag a piece plus one bag for both of us... that will get down to 3 but not 2.....50 bucks in the scheme of things just ain't that important to us..I will just have to add it into the budget somewhere.....I know 3 less martinis!! bam paid for..

cool we will plan on it then.. cause we may go twice ourselves if the first time blows us away.. when we did the summit through the canal ... we sailed with our friends and the two of them and DAVID ordered the Chateaubriand cooked welllllllll done.. they just wanted it crucified.. well to my to my surprise the chef Conceicao Ferreira was able to cook it well done and the fellas said it was just as juicy and tender.. I saw her the next morning at the CovaCafe and just had to speak to her and tell her the dinner was outstanding...... she is a charming little petite thing from Brazil...

I must have the worst taste buds.. everyone loves that goat cheese I didn't care for it... But the Roquefort they serve at the end of the meal....oh my my toes curled for the rest of the cruise...that was the best
