I don't think they can retro charge.. We were told when we booked, that even though we were not being charged the fuel fee right now, if oil went above $70 a barrel, we may have to pay the $9 per day per passenger fuel charge. I really hope not because my son and Jessica are still unsure if they are going to be able to swing the cruise or not and I hate to mention that they may have to pay more. Actually, if that does happen, I guess that we would just pay theirs... well if they thew out that disclaimer I would say you are right.... that Is a bummer

Well guys.. what do you think... will Andrea be safe with a 11:20 flight.. by my reasoning she will have a 45 minute buffer built in. Here is my thought process please see if you can agree... Let's say the ship arrives on time at 7am and is cleared by customs no later than 8am, she is in first group of pax to disembark meaning she will be off and through customs by 8:45am/9:00am then off to a waiting taxi and at MIA no later than 9:30am/9:45am. a good 90+ minutes before her scheduled departure at 11:20am.. and check-in with baggage requires a check-in of at least 60 minutes before the flight domestically

When a person books air far out the airlines can change the flight schedule on you so it is wise to periodically check the reservations to ensure they still work for you.. and if they did change the flight you may want to adjust your seating assignments. Did you get my post on how to find airfare?.....

A cruise ship with 2,000 passengers aboard has had its voyage cut short and will head to an Australian port for medical help after three crew members were diagnosed Thursday with swine flu, a health official said. It was the second time that people have contracted swine flu on the ship. The luxury ship left Monday on a 10-day cruise from Sydney to Australia's northeastern tropical waters over the Great Barrier Reef, just hours after returning from a trip on which several people complained of flu-like symptoms. Twenty-four passengers and crew on that cruise have now been found to have swine flu. The first case was not confirmed until after the ship was allowed to sail again with a new group of passengers. Health Minister Nicola Roxon said three crew members on board the ship, the P&O Cruises' Pacific Dawn operated by Carnival Corp., tested positive for the virus Thursday. Two sick passengers were tested and cleared of swine flu. That news comes as the number of swine flu cases in the country more than doubled from 67 Wednesday to 147 late Thursday. The infected crew members aboard the ship have been isolated from passengers since early in the cruise and have been treated with an antiviral medication, Roxon said. "It may not be necessary for there to be a quarantine arrangement," Roxon told reporters. The ship will now dock Saturday in Brisbane, where passengers will be examined by public health experts and some will leave the ship. It will continue south to Sydney by Monday, three days ahead of schedule. The interrupted vacation left passengers disappointed and fearing for the health of their families. "Everyone on board's very disappointed that we're not stopping at our proposed destinations, but obviously the threat has escalated and they don't want to take any risks," passenger David Gair told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio by telephone. Bevan Wagstaff said he was desperate to get his daughter and pregnant wife away from the virus threat. "The only word I could use at the moment would be devastation," Wagstaff told Nine Network news by telephone. "My wife is midway through her pregnancy; she is absolutely distraught," he added. The virus has sickened more than 13,000 people in 48 countries and been linked to more than a 100 deaths worldwide, with the majority of the fatalities in Mexico.

with ours we are using our frequent flier miles and the system wouldn't let me book the flights together so i had to book them separately.. so when they change ours I need to sign in to both accounts just to change seating.. luckily they have only done that once to us..

I check our flights monthly until 2 months out then it's weekly.....think I am too obsessed?

On another thread a question came up about teenagers cruising which got me to wondering .. which line is BEST equipped for teenagers (12+-18+/-) as far as activities.. food..entertainment?

This is what you need to know..little rock's airport code is LIT and Miami is MIA with this information you will want to go to an on-line site like.. orbitz ..travelocity.. expedia.. price line ..one of the on-line booking engines.. this is where it gets interesting... when you do your search... you need to pay attention to departure and arrival times .....since you are flying in the day before it is not as critical as when you disembark to fly home after the cruise...Andrea..make sure that your departure time on sunday the 22nd is after 12 noon (personally i prefer after 1pm) this will enable you plenty of time to get to the airport and through screenings..

Thank Howard didn't know that.. if we didn't have our yacht thingy planned ... well maybe next time..

oh boy ... ok I can try and help.. couple of questions though are you planning to fly in on saturday the day before the cruise? willyou fly out of Little Rock or do you have another airport you could use..
