Final payment is due tomorrow for this sailing August 20th... Has anyone else noticed how many Cabins are available at this late date?.. I wonder who will be visited by the upgrade fairy...

One of the great things about CruiseCrazies is the diversity in membership and experiences and the willingness to share observations. As you know there is an upcoming cruise that we are on to the Mediterranean. Our Ports of Call Itinerary is as follows: Barcelona, Nice, Florence, Rome, Naples, Santorini, Athens, Dubrovnik, Venice. I wondered if any of the Crazies that have visited any of the ports, would be willing to pick their favorite<] and suggest ONE <]thing as a must see<]... I as a virgin to Europe I very much respect the opinions of the posters here and would love to see it from the experienced eyes going into the adventure and compare observations.. So let experience ring out! Thanks

Jim.... for an experienced cruiser like yourself I agree..but for some novices that don't know where , who , when , or which.. a TA can be a blessing... and they can be a nightmare..just like anything else .. there are good and bad ... I rarely use a TA unless I want to just turn over a commission as a gift... I too love to book myself .. I get a thrill from it.. I do know there are a bunch of people who could do it themselves but would rather delegate.. it's all about personal preference. joey

I think we have decided to basically treat Santorini as a day of leasure...even though the Santorini port is a day after an official sea day I/we felt that after the grueling four days we have planned fro Nice, Tuscany, Rome and Naples we may need the extra time to rest.... Plus we are in Santorini for 18 hours so.. it may be a good morning to sleep in.... plus the sunset is the big thing for us there...Most likely that will be our specialty dinning night also...

How many Cruise TA's do we have in the house?
