oh so Dan? are you saying that the reintroduction of our luggage in American's baggage system happens DURING the clear customs process? If so then yeah that wont be to bad.. I though we were going to have to lug for dayz... Whew!

Oh i have to disagree here Zebra..... By far I found the Celebrity service to be bounds above where HAL was when we last sailed with them....As a matter of fact that is why we went to Celebrity because of the Service.. But then again thats just my opinion.. Jackie,when was your last HAL cruise?

We are flying back to the United states from LGW.. this flight takes us on American Airlines to DFW where we clear customs and board another American Flight back to LAX.. My question ... Do we have to collect our luggage in DFW to clear customs and then recheck them with the airline or will American just clear the checked bags and then we just physically go through the line to declare anything we might need to declare. Thanks... the 1:45 minutes between flights (DFW to LAX)has me concerned...

Just a reminder to recheck your flight arrangements .. airlines do frequently change flights with no firm notification to the passenger..Case in point.. I discovered that AA had us landing at LGW after our flight back to the states had left......Luckily we were able to change the flights but now we have to land at LAX instead of a more convenient ..BUR (Burbank- bob hope) Airport.... Verify those flights :wink:

sounds like you guys are going to need TWO taxis.. I think.. don't hold me to this .. but i think the water taxis hold a maximum 6 people
