  1. As I interpret this press release; they are saying, they lost $28.1 million in the first quarter mainly due to rising payroll costs with its Hawai'i cruise ships and higher fuel costs more than offset an increase in revenue. They say they will become profitable again when they have full deployment (three ships), in the region. I have to ask … Do they expect that payroll will flatten with an American crew. Do they feel Fuel Prices will stabilize? Could someone explain how a third ship will turn a 28.1 million dollar loss around?
  2. Welcome back........ glad you made it home safely.... Good luck on your stress test .......

  6. nicole06, Great to see you posting… Welcome again to CruiseCrazies … It has been our experience that sailing the Caribbean in January can be awesome.. Hurricane season for all intense and purposes is over the temperature in the Caribbean is wonderful... Blue skies turquoise water and one of the nicest feeling one can experience. We have never said from Jersey so I cannot help you with the weather on the east coast in January but once you get to southern fl and beyond its magical. Wish I could provide additional information to you, some of our other members will no doubt be able to give you more details of what to expecting January leaving from Jersey.

At least now, you have compared the two lines and now understand the differences.… Do you think you will be trying Holland America, Princess, or Celebrity or will you be sticking with Royal Caribbean exclusively?
