You will be my go to person for the UK .....and I cant wait to start planning that either a week in UK and a few days in amsterdam thats the Origional thought!..most likely we will do you guys as a land vacation.. You dont go home to "mother" for just a few hours :grin:

Karen... For a person like me, a detailed organizer... I get more enjoyment out of the planning and then watching the execution of my planning take form. That for me is my idea of a great vacation. It is very cool that I get to see some of the most wonderful places in the world while I have “my†Fun. How freaking sick is that! As soon as the US dollar strengthens we will be coming your way.. It’s definitely on our to do list. :grin:

unfortunately, it appears as long as the cruise lines continue to aquire each other and take away true competition.. the cruise lines are free to charge what they want.. I am doing the research now trying to figure out when everything is said and done that Raddison might actually come in line with what we spend with Celebrity when all the extras are added in.. you know Max it might NOT be that much more!, could even be the same price !

But if they increased the cost to cover coffees and tips.... wouldnt you feel less nicked and dimed?

OK, I'm nervous. Rule 1.. Take a deep breath We're booked on our first cruise, on the NCL Dream for a Christmas Caribbean cruise. One, I'm hearing lots of bad stuff since I booked about the Dream. Congratulations on your Christmas booking, I am sure you will have a great time. Personally I dont worry too much about bad reviews, sometimes they tend to be a bit on the exagerated side, although no vacation is flawless, it's best to condsider the source. JMHO Two, I didn't know what I was doing when I booked and the agent said I have a "guaranteed" reservation, but no specific assignment on the ship. Is this bad? Is it normal? All a guaranteed reservation means is that you will not be asigned a cabin in a lower class then what you purchased, for example if you buy a verandah class stateroom you will get a verandah , but location might not be ideal, most people prefer to pick a cabin based on deck and position of room, others dont care where as long as they have a verandah, more or less its a great way to get a certain type of room and save a few dollars Three, I booked flights with the cruiseline but don't know anything (time, airline) about the flight? Is this normal? Yes it is You will be given information for fight and travel arrangements with your documents normally a few weeks out of the actual sail date. Help! Hopes this helps.. I am sure others will be able to fill in and correct any mistakes that I may have given. good luck and dont forget to breath :grin:

I just found out that Celebrity will allow me to use their computer and word program for free, all I need to do is bring a floppy disc with me and I can create my review as it happens almost like a blog... That’s great for me... my hand writing is atrocious, plus lets not get into my spelling skillz... so now all I have to do when I get home is edit add pictures and send to Jason how easy could that be! Just thought I would pass it along in case others wanted to try... I am too cheap to sign up for internet on board... its funny the things we decide to be frugal on.

Sure will Jenn.. and I am not excited .. I just have this dang hanger stuck in my mouth thats the only reason i cant stop grinning :grin: :grin:
