This is so true Keith it can only go up from here. After that cruise we fired HAL and Carnival Corporation.. Saddley, I am trying to talk David into allowing us to try Princess but as of now he says no way.. Celebrity is our last hope for main line cruising...LOL I think if I dont go into this with high expectations, it wont be so bad. Either way....Life goes on! :grin:

Hey Everyone! Here is my problem. I want to buy a digital camera, and don’t know what to buy. I don’t understand the terms or the language that is talked about. I did know something about Old School Cameras with the different film speed and exposures and all the information. I need something that is a decent camera, that takes good quality pictures that would be used mostly for up loading and occasionally printed out. A camera that has a zoom feature and that is automatic as far as focus and lighting needs. And a memory stick that will hold enough pictures for a day of excursions I figured that maybe 75 or so… Most of the pictures are scenic although 15% may be posed people( like I said I don’t Know) I was looking to pay no more (but will but better performance) than 199.99 USD. Could anyone provide me with a brand name and model number they would recommend also how much stick do I have to have. I hope someone will advise . Thanks again

Without prejudging I would look Holland America, Princess and Celebrity. And if memory serves me correctly there might even be a hawaii trip from the northeast which could save you big money i would imagine I could be wrong. Good luck Ann on your research

Hi Ann, Hawaii is a great trip. We get over as often as we can. I must tell you we prefer to do the land thing there,thus have never done the cruise vacation. With that being said, I think there are actually 3 California cities San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego that have round trip cruises to and from Hawaii. There are also the cruises that start and finish in Hawaii . So depending on what type of experience you are looking for!?, That IMHO would dictate the cruise line to choose. Celebrity, NCL, Princess, and I believe RCCL all to the round trips during one part of the year or another. If it’s a romantic experience your after I would suggest a more service oriented line with a verandah stateroom so you two can enjoy the morning or evening sun thingy! :wink:

Sue if I may .. a follow up question: Is it true that tips for the crew are reduced for traveling youngsters?
