oh my...Deb.... i think so don't quote me ......it's like 65 cents a minute or more when you buy a "package"... all i kinda remember is I bought a package last time we sailed on the mercury... and didn't think it was of value to me personally.. it was nice to be able to check email and stay in touch.. but it wasn't all that.... at least for me.. the good thing for us is we use the lap top for so much more than internet...

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. today announced it has arranged commitments for unsecured financing in the amount of USD 1,050,000,000 or 80 percent of the contract price of Royal Caribbean International's Oasis of the Seas. The facility will be 95 percent guaranteed by Finnvera, the official export credit agency of Finland, and amortizes over 12 years. BNP Paribas, Nordea Bank and SEB have each committed to provide 20 percent of the financing and each may elect to opt-out after six years. Finnish Export Credit Ltd. will provide funding for the remaining 40 percent. The company has an option of a floating or fixed rate of interest, and overall terms will fall within the company's financial projections. The commitments are subject only to customary closing conditions. "We are very pleased to have secured the financing for Oasis of the Seas," said Brian J. Rice, executive vice president and chief financial officer. "With the tight credit environment and lack of liquidity in the financial markets today, this financing is a testimony to the strength of our company, the terrific partnership we have with Finland, and the outstanding long-term relationships we enjoy with our banks."

I too will be taking my lap top... but that's only so i can access my word program.. Celebrity removed all the word programs from its public computers..

Can't you just see us all sitting around the pool with our laptops "chatting" with each other via CruiseCrazies. However, at the cost of on board wi-fi we may just have to speak to each other (but only if absolutely necessary.) LOL I'd been thinking it would be great to get a picture of all us doing just that!...except i'm not bringing mine bec. I can't afford the on board wi-fi! But we could all meet in the computer lad for a photo op.... (no charge).. Who can afford those charges??..I feel they are ridiculously high.. but I'm a bit of a cheapskate you and me both, bro! We could all meet in the computer lab for a photo - op....(No Charge!)

Actually I needed/wanted to know because I plan on calling to verify all the reservations once we get closer to travel time.. good thing is we are one of the first to arrive (11/6) so i plan on making sure all the crazies are set.. Glad you and Andrea are all set..

I think you will see the general travel restrictions lifted and Cuban Cigars will once more allowed in the us within 12 months.. just my best guesstimate/opinion

Me too!! Everything's starting to fall into place - got the hotel reservations but still not a flight. I'm hoping for prices to go down....but they probably won't. Hey deb.. I need to ask.......any trouble making your hotel reservations?

It does feel like the calendar is moving a bit quicker than it has been. I think that once summer starts, it will feel like its just around the corner. Yessssssss - I can see it. The calendar is moving faster now than it was. but i bet it's not moving like in the movie.. "The Time Machine" gosh.. that movie was so bad i loved it!
