We have never been on a ship that offered you champagne upon embarkation. If we had I'd definitely imbibe well you will soon!

we try and do dining room at least once a cruise if not more.... if we are sailing in Concierge Class then we will opt for room service on early port days... the rest of the time we do the buffet

first thing i do .. drink champaign!

Yesterday (Tuesday April 7, 2009) i saw this great documentary on CNBC ..they take you on the ultimate getaway with an exclusive look inside the multi-billion dollar cruise industry. Correspondent Peter Greenberg spends seven days aboard the Norwegian Pearl, one of the newest in Norwegian Cruise Line's fleet. The 14-story floating city is a destination of its own. It has a full-service medical center, a state of the art surveillance system, and offers passengers every opportunity to spend on anything from sushi-making to BINGO, even Botox! The next airing is scheduled for Friday, April 10th 2009 12p ET.. if you get the chance check it out.. Tivo it or record it if need be..I highly recommend it..

oh i was just wondering ..whether or not anyone else thought ...the machine may be primed more ..if all the money went in.. before the first pull.. I've never thought about it but of course that is an option. How does everyone else feel about it? It's probably me just being over analytical...but it seems to me ..whenever David and I play the slots together and he coin feeds his machine for each pull he rarely wins.. vs when i feed the kitty all at once..but like i said ..it is probably me thinking too much....ouch why does my head hurt??.... i smell something burning!

Thinking back over your past Cruises..... Is there something you wished the cruise lines would include in the stateroom as standard...to enhance your cruise experience?(it could be nurishment, electronic, personal hygiene products.. it's up to you and what you like)

How do you start your day onboard? Do you have breakfast in the dinning room? the Buffet? or room service?

It is embarkation day at long last ....you arrive at the pier.. check your bags.. stand in line... check in.... get your sail and sign card.. take your boarding picture... walk on the ship and are greeted with an enthusiatic "Welcome Aboard!"...... Whats is the NEXT thing you do?

hey marylou... my mind started to ponder.. please excuse me.....The picture you posted was of quarter machines.. just to make sure i understand .. we are using a dollar machine with the maximum credits per pull? When everyone has had their pull .. we cash out ...if there is anything to cash out that is and divide the winnings by number of persons that contributed to the origional stake...if I have that right.. here is my next question...is all the money put in the machine at once?

wow those are alot of courses... which you need on a vessel that size .. but i do like the idea of a 24hour O’Sheehan’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill type place.

yes...first my family will me to the airport where I will fly the Snoopy Skies, until I get to Miami and board the ship and there I will dream of the beach... until i can do this... you have way to much timeon your hands.....

gotcha ....got my boarding pass and duct tape i am ready to cruise

OMy isnt that a scary thought.. FYI I havent met a pursers desk yet that didnt have one or two screwdrivers 4 glasses in a drawer..

On another thread Jamaica is being touted as an unfavorite dangerous Port of call .. the quick question: Should the Cruise Industry abandon Jamaica as a port option on their Caribbean runs until the Island can stabilize and ensure the safety of all passengers and guests?
